We are launching a CMMS system at Phoenix Contact Wielkopolska

The Polish division of Phoenix Contact Wielkopolska, part of the international Phoenix Contact Group, which employs more than 22,000 people worldwide, has selected our Queris CMMS system to support the maintenance department at its plant in Nowy Tomysl.

Our solution at Phoenix Contact Wielkopolska’s main plant, thanks to the system’s rich functionality and customized implementation, will contribute to improving the efficiency of maintenance processes and affect the overall increase in production efficiency.

The selection of the Queris CMMS system, together with its comprehensive implementation tailored to the individual requirements of Phoenix Contact Wielkopolska’s Polish branch, is further confirmation of our leadership position on the market of maintenance solution providers.

Phoenix Contact Wielkopolska is part of the international Phoenix Contact Group – a world leader and innovator in electrification, networking and automation. The company in Poland was founded in 1994 in Nowy Tomysl and started with manual assembly of electrotechnical parts. Over nearly 30 years of operations, the company has grown rapidly into a modern and automated enterprise. Phoenix Contact Wielkopolska employs more than 3,400 people in its 3 branches in Poland: in Nowy Tomysl, Poznan and Tarnobrzeg, and is one of the largest employers in the region. The company manufactures electrical connectors for switch cabinets, signal cables and connectors for printed circuit boards, among other products. Most of the components for the products it manufactures, are produced locally through one of Poland’s largest injection molding and metal parts manufacturing plants. The plant has a fully automated high-bay warehouse.

Also worth mentioning are departments such as Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, Tool Shop, engineering and technical departments, certification and testing laboratories, as well as support departments including shared service centers. These units provide services both for the needs of the local company and the entire Phoenix Contact (PxC) Group.
