Nesperta is one of the most important players in the Polish cosmetics market, especially in the category of hybrid polish and nail care products. The company owns the popular Semilac and hi hybrid brands.
Since the 1990s, and especially since 2005, the manufacturer has been building its position as an expert in the field of manicure, offering a wide range of hybrid and classic polishes, as well as comprehensive solutions for nail styling and care. Available in 35 countries, Nesperta’s products reach both professionals and home users who value quality and innovative approach to cosmetology. In Poland, they can be purchased in the most popular drugstores, among others.
Motivations and goals for implementing the system at Nesperta
The main impetus for implementing the MES system at Nesperta was the need to replace the previously problematic software responsible for the product label printing process. This task has now been completely taken over by the Queris MES system.
Equally important was the digitization of the production process, including monitoring and automatic recording of component consumption with data transfer to the ERP system, and the digitization of process control cards.
The manufacturer also expected to be able to track the progress of orders in real time, accurately verify the consumption of raw materials against normatives (BOM), view the full genealogy of products and access detailed production reports.

Scope of Queris MES system implementation at Nesperta
Our cooperation with Nesperta covered the most important areas of production management from the point of view of efficiency.
- We integrated our system with Nesperta’s existing ERP system, providing a two-way flow of data – from orders to information on the consumption of raw materials and finished goods.
- In addition, the implemented modules provided advanced process control, including compliance with technology and quality standards.
- Another element was the launch of production scheduling on a Gantt chart, which enabled visualization and optimization of the production plan.
- The system also manages material flow, monitoring components at each stage of production and ensuring full traceability.
Benefits of implementation seen in production
The implementation of the system has brought benefits to Nesperta that have translated into improved daily operations and better control over processes. The most important results achieved include:
- Resolution of labeling problems – the system fully took over the label generation and printing process, eliminating previous difficulties and ensuring its stability and full control.
- Accurate analysis of consumption – the reporting module has made it possible to precisely verify the actual consumption of raw materials in relation to defined normatives (BOM).
- Monitoring of the machinery fleet – the collected data supports the analysis of the technical condition and efficiency of the use of production machinery.
- Expiration date automation – the system automatically calculates the expiration date of the product, which is automatically transferred to printing on labels, reducing the risk of costly errors.
- Recording and analysis of corrections – the ability to track and analyze so-called “station rework” (corrections “on the go” made by the operator), which were previously difficult or even impossible to capture, has been gained.
- Automatic counting of shortages – The system automatically counts and categorizes shortages (e.g., no cap, no brush), eliminating the need for manual recording by operators and providing valuable data on production quality.
