Poland Tokai Okaya is part of the Japanese Okaya Group, which operates worldwide. The Polish branch is responsible for the design and manufacture of metal products, stamping and punching parts, as well as the provision of threading, assembly, welding and other metalworking services.
Innovative technological activities are carried out in a state-of-the-art machine park equipped with modern production lines and machines. Having advanced resources at one’s disposal requires personnel to manage them skillfully, which is why the management of the maintenance department decided to streamline this area with a professional CMMS system.
The implementation of Queris CMMS at Poland Tokai Okaya was primarily aimed at:
- to organise the management of production and technical assets,
- improving the performance of the maintenance department, especially in terms of machine availability and response to requests from production operators,
- reducing machine operating costs,
- generate greater savings and improve liquidity in the area of spare parts inventory management.
Thanks to the cooperation and use of our solution, the Polish branch of the Japanese manufacturer expects a decrease in the number of breakdowns, shorter repair times, better organisation of the maintenance department’s work and an overall reduction in production costs.
